Which email address your invoices come from

How your invoices, quotes and reminders are sent, what your customer sees, and where their replies go.

Updated October 26, 2026

When you email an invoice, quote, credit note or reminder from Ledgri, your customer sees:

What it shows
FromYour business name, sent from billing@mail.ledgri.com
Reply-ToYour Business email from Settings → Company
In the emailYour logo, the amount and dates, a button to view and pay, and "Sent by your business. Reply to this email to contact them."

So when a customer clicks Reply, the email goes straight to you, not to Ledgri.

Payslips come from payroll@mail.ledgri.com and team invitations from team@mail.ledgri.com, also with your business name.

Why not my own address?

Sending from Ledgri's address, which is set up and verified for sending, means your emails land in the inbox rather than in spam. Your name and your reply address make it personal. This is how most accounting apps send emails.

Set your business email first

Ledgri won't send invoices, quotes, reminders or payslips until a Business email is set in Settings → Company. Without it, customers' replies would have nowhere to go. New companies start with the email of the person who created them; change it to the address you want replies to reach, such as accounts@yourbusiness.ca.

Emails not arriving?

See A customer didn't get my invoice email. Every email Ledgri sends for you is listed, with its status, under Email in Settings → Company.
