Add customers and vendors
Keep the people you sell to and buy from in one place, with their terms and contact details.
Updated October 26, 2026
Customers are who you sell to; vendors are who you buy from. Both show what's owed at a glance.
Add a customer
- Go to Sales → Customers and click Add customer.
- Enter their Name (as it appears on invoices) and, if it's a business, the Business name.
- Add an Email so you can send invoices, quotes and reminders.
- Optionally add a Phone, Tax number, Billing address and Notes.
- Payment terms (days) sets the due date on new invoices, for example 30.
- Currency is the currency you usually invoice them in.
You can also add a customer straight from a new invoice or quote: pick + Add a new customer in the customer list.
Add a vendor
Go to Purchases → Vendors and click Add vendor. The fields are the same.
Edit or retire a contact
Click a customer or vendor to edit them. To stop using one without losing their history, untick Active. The list shows what each customer owes you or what you owe each vendor, and a core out badge if a customer still owes an old part.
